I don't get it and I've tried. Pumpkin Pie is one of my favorite desserts during the holidays. Nothing compares to a plain piece of Pumpkin Pie with a mountain of whipped cream.

I don't bake pumpkin seeds or buy them in variety of nut packs at the store. There is actually nothing that I involve pumpkins in other than a piece of the pie. That's not the case for the rest of America because I stumbled upon the future of Pumpkin Spice and everything nice.

It was just a regular grocery store visit to grab something to make breakfast for the kids. Just something simple as I notice these orange looking sale items towards the end of the aisles. It was like little Pumpkin sections for all the basic teams shopping. I kid on the basic comment but look at the aisles of specialty items that Pumpkins have infiltrated.

You want a Poptart? Drop some Pumpkin in it. Looking for some Special K? Drops some Pumpkins in the box. You wanna get Mini on those wheats? Splash some Pumpkin Spice on that little guy. Need a drink? Let Samuel Adams introduce Jack-O to your pallet. The list goes on and on and on (repeat sequence). Heads up, it's still August.

While I'm not into the spices of Pumpkins I'm sure a box of something will end up on our shelves. So, here's to Fall because in the end, something that makes everyone happy is better than nothing.

Disclaimer: These were all at Albertsons on Five Mile/Maple Grove.
