I don't know about you, but for me, the quality of food I'm experiencing in life has actually gone up! A Costco run from two weeks ago is paying off big time...

So with all this time we all have at home these days, we have more time to cook, and to try different recipes and put some real time and love into them. I'll be honest, my fiance Stacy has actually had some fun and has cooked up some great stuff. Last night we had a previously frozen, lovely marinated pork tenderloin that she cooked in the cast iron skillet.

Stacy watches a lot of Ina Garten on the food network who talks a bit about food presentation and how the way it's presented can impact the way you perceive how something tastes... So a little garnish went a long way and this pork tenderloin was so good last night, even the cat wanted in on the action, and she doesn't typically beg for food.

Also in our self quarantine, we've had tuna casserole and other delicious pastas, Sunday we had a french toast casserole which is essentially french toast bread pudding, amazing...

We've got boxes of chips and treats, and even a selection of frozen vegetables so we can balance things out. So yeah, the food situation has been great, though I am a little concerned about how this will effect my already stressed out belt that goes around my waste...
