New Sandwich Shop Opens Tomorrow in Boise

There are a ton of new restaurants popping up in Boise these days! Unfortunately, we've also lost a few good ones including one of my favorites, Bleubird, which closed its doors two weeks ago. Eating downtown after the morning show is super convenient for those of us at Mix 106, so I was pretty excited when I heard about a new sandwich shop that's going to be opening up soon!

Tasso, a locally owned deli, will soon be joining the businesses of Eighth and Main. The upcoming restaurant will offer everything from ham and cheese to smoked steelhead sandwiches as well as soups, salad, and chili. The best part is that everything on the menu will be made from scratch!

The deli will be taking over the spot that was formerly Fresh Off The Hook - 401 S 8th Street. Tasso will be opening at 11am for lunch Tuesday-Saturday with a 4pm Happy Hour. They also plan to offer catering.

The business expects to open to diners this month. For those of you who are curious, photos of the Tasso remodel are on Facebook. It looks incredible - as does the menu!
