Nampa Meals On Wheals Needs Volunteers

There is never a wrong time to help. If you are interested in volunteering your time for a really great cause, the Nampa Meals On Wheels is looking for some extra help during the summer time. 

You really wont need to put in to much work other than a smiling face and an interest to help others. The meals that are delivered around Canyon County to individuals over the age of 60 and are unable to drive and do day to day basics that most of us take for granted. Saint Al's in Nampa provides the cooked and prepared meals and has done so for so many years in the Treasure Valley.  Meals on Wheels is funded by Federal and State government, Saint Alphonsus Medical Center — Nampa and the community. Donations from the program participants are accepted, but not required. The suggested donation is $6 per day. There is not a major amount of time that individuals who want to help are required to give each day. The runs are usually from 10 am to 1 pm during the week.
