Is it too soon to just want to skip right to the Christmas season yet? I'm exhausted with the anxiety that everyone is going through which includes the pandemic and the election.

We've been through enough si instead of wondering about all the what-if conversations, I'd like to just skip to the things that make people happy, Christmas.

I'm going to post something each week surround the Christmas holidays because for most people it puts a smile on your face. It's not so much about how many gifts or money you spend but more about family.

Let's talk about NETFLIX's The Christmas Chronicles and the announcement of a sequel. I recognize that Hallmark owns Christmas features. I plan on posting all the new movies coming up and Hallmark is your end-all (at least it is for my wife.)

The Christmas Chronicles was a smash and one of the newer holiday shows that has been that successful. We have our goto movies like,

  • Nightmare Before Christmas
  • A Christmas Carol
  • Bad Santa
  • Miracle on 34th Street
  • Scrooged
  • Home Alone
  • White Christmas
  • A Christmas Story
  • National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
  • It's a Wonderful Life
  • The Grinch
  • Rise of the Guardians
  • Santa Clause

That's just to name a few. Arthur Christmas, Four Christmases, and Polar Express are some of our favorites. NETFLIX did us right with The Christmas Chronicles about Santa (Kurt Russell) going down because two kids snuck in the sleigh. Long story short Santa loses the elves, finds the elves and the 3 of them have to save Christmas. Oh, Santa goes to jail also.

Great movie for the family and there will be part 2. I gave my wife a synopsis of the sequel and she didn't wanna know so I'll just post the trailer. Here's the only spoiler alert which is just the date. The Christmas Chronicles 2 will be available on NETFLIX, November 25, 2020, which is the night before Thanksgiving.

Everyone is coming back for the second installment and it should be fantastic!
