This weekend, I got out the big ladder and hung the lights on our garage and porch roof.  Of course, I checked all the lights before I put them up - as you can see - one burned out immediately after I put the ladder away.

I love the look of the lights on the house and that feeling makes the time spent worthwhile.

Having said that, I know that for some the "most wonderful time of the year" can be difficult and doesn't evoke those same feelings of joy.  If that's your situation, how can I best be sensitive to that?  Is there anything you wish people would do, say, or know?
