Mix 106 Cares For Kids Radiothon Kicks Off Tomorrow

When you think about it, the thought of not eating for an entire weekend not only makes MY stomach hurt but also my heart. That is the reality for many children in the Treasure Valley and the State of Idaho. Tomorrow, as we kick off the Mix 106 Cares for Kids Radiothon with the Idaho Food bank, you can stand with us and fight that statistic that 1 in 7 children don't know where their next meal is coming from.

We live in such an amazing community. It really is, one that gives back when others are hurting or when others are hungry. The Idaho Foodbank is very much a part of that giving back community. Our Radiothon with them that kicks off bright and early tomorrow morning will bring to the forefront the tireless work the Foodbank does for so many in the Treasure Valley and beyond. With a donation of $25 a month, you are putting food in the tummies of a kid who in insecure on the certainty that they will eat every meal during the weekend time and summer months.
