Make sure your calendar is clear on Friday, August 2nd after work. Because from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. you should be taking the family to join in on the fun of the 40th annual Salmon BBQ with all proceeds to benefit the Meridian Firefighter's Benevolent Fund and Burnout Fund.

If you're a senior make sure to show up early because you will be able to eat beginning at 5 p.m. with the general public eating from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will be held at Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park located at 1901 North Records Ave in Meridian.

There will be delicious Applewood smoked Salmon, french fries, cole slaw, rolls and butter, hot dogs, soda, water and milk. Beer will be available for purchase.

Adults will be $15, Seniors $10, Children aged 6 - 12 will be $6, and all kids 5 and under are free. The event will be a great time and everyone is invited, so make sure to put the Salmon BBQ on your calendar now.
