Mike Shares Mix 106 Photos & Videos From 2017 Race For The Cure

Thanks to all who took part in another successful Susan G Komen Race for the Cure with Mix 106. Over 7000 people showed up this year to show support and raise money in the fight against breast cancer. Here's the pictures and videos of this years amazing people.

The Susan G Komen Race for the cure happens every year on the Saturday before Mother's Day. So if you couldn't be a part of this years event make sure to plan on joining

and being a part of next years Race for the Cure by becoming a member or our Mix 106 "Peeka Boo-bees" team. Here's why this is such a great cause to be a part of:

-The proceeds stay here in Idaho to fight breast cancer.

-One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime

-98 percent of those diagnosed have on history of breast cancer in their family

-2000 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the Y.S. this year

-The five year survival rate for those who are diagnoses early is 98 percent

-It's all about early detection and that's where the Race for the Cure funds are directed
