Mike & Nicole Talk With Actor Ronny Cox Star of “Pure Country Pure Heart”

Mike and Nicole recently got to talk with actor/singer Ronny Cox. Ronny has starred in over 125 movies and TV shows over the past 40 years but his first love is music. His passion and his job (acting) intersect in his new movie “Pure Country Pure Heart”

You might have seen Ronny in movies such as Beverly Hills Cop and Beverly Hills Cop 2 with Eddie Murphy, Robocop, Total Recall with Arnold Schwarzenegger, and TV shows like Desperate Housewives, Law and Order, Star Trek and St. Elsewhere. He's most often best known for his first acting job as Drew in the very disturbing guy flick Deliverance with Burt Reynolds, Jon Voight, and Ned Beatty where he plays the guitar part of the song Dueling Banjos.

Ronny stars in the upcoming movie Pure Country, Pure Heart. This is the third film in the Pure Country series. Other titles include Pure Country and Pure Country 2: The Gift.

Pure Country, Pure Heart also stars Willie Nelson, Tony award nominee Laura Bell Bundy and WWE super star legend Shawn Michaels. The movie will be out on DVD and streaming services, Tuesday August 1st.
