Mike and Nicole’s OPP: Gender Reveal Gone Wrong

Dear Mike and Nicole,

My wife hasn't spoken to me since last Saturday. She is mad because of the way I acted at our gender reveal party that weekend. We had cupcakes filled with pink or blue depending on boy or girl and when we bit into ours, it revealed that we are expecting our fourth daughter. Everyone was cheering except me because I really wanted a son. My wife is upset and says she is hurt that I am disappointed.
I really wanted to be able to show him how to play sports and work on cars. I love our three girls, but with this being our last, I know that I won't have the son I was hoping for. Am I wrong for feeling like this? What can I say to make my wife understand?
