You've heard of watchdogs, but have you ever heard of a watch squirrel? Adam Pearl of Meridian apparently has one and he does an amazing job, even scaring away and and helping to apprehend an Intruder.

Adam Pearl lives in Meridian and he’s way cooler than you or I because he owns a pet squirrel named Joey…not just any squirrel but he may be an attack squirrel.

Recently Adam returned home and noticed that a few doors that he left closed when he left were now open. After walking to his bedroom he noticed that his gun case had been tampered with and knew immediately that someone had been in the house.

Pearl called Meridian Police to report the crime.  The officer noticed Pearl’s squirrel and asked if he’d bite….and Pearl said not to worry he was a pet and that he usually doesn’t bite.

The officer left only to return a few hours later with some of Pearl’s stolen items and an amazing story.

"She said while she was questioning the individual he had scratches on his hands so she asked him, 'Did you get that from the squirrel?,' and he says 'Yeah, damn thing kept attacking me and wouldn't stop until I left'," Pearl said.

How do you like that,  Joey went from being just an average everyday pet squirrel to “attack watch squirrel” and super hero all in one afternoon.

…I don’t know about you, but it sounds like this might be the making of a possible Disney movie, doesn’t it?
