Massive Veggie Recall Issued For Idaho Stores Due To Listeria Concerns
Some of Idaho’s biggest supermarket chains have issued a massive food recall for packages of various fresh cut vegetables due to potential listeria contamination. So far there has only been one case reported in Canada, but Mann Packing is issuing the voluntary recall as a precaution, so that no other people are contaminated.
Among the chains that have issued notices here in Idaho are Albertsons, Safeway, Walmart, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods Market
The recall potentially affects many products that contain vegetables that are packaged and delivered from Mann Packing.
While retailers have been pulling recalled food from shelves, the FDA says, that it’s also important for consumers who have already purchased potentially affected items to return them to the store where they were purchased.

▪ Albertson’s and Safeway Store…. store brand, Signature Farms, Meat & Cheese Tray; Broccoli Cauliflower Florets; Broccoli Slaw; Broccoli Stir Fry; Broccoli Florets; Veggie Tray with Ranch Dip; Vegetable Medley; and Veggie & Hummus Tray.
