Locate the Storm Drain Nearest Your Home

It looks like the snow is done for a little while in the Boise area....now we get to dig out and worry about flooding. Want to find the storm drain closest to your home? ACHD has the map to help.

The problem we have with this much snow and now warm weather is the melting snow has now place to go because all the storm drains are frozen closed so the water isn't getting to where it needs to go. If you have a lake in front of your house, it's probably because the storm drain is frozen closed....the map below will help you zone in to exactly where the closest drain is next to your home...I tried the map and found the closest drain to my house is about 100 yards away.....looks like I will be digging a very long trench.
