More than 100 members of Idaho’s leadership and business community, including Lt. Governor Brad Little, Boise Mayor David Bieter, and my wife, Honorary Commander of the Security wing of the 124th Fighter Wing were in attendance for the announcement of Gowen Thunder 2017...the largest air show to hit the Treasure Valley in over 20 years.

In addition to the Air Force Thunderbirds you will see these other top performers that have already been announced and the incredible Canadian Snowbirds.

Mark it on your calendars….Gowen Thunder 2017 will take place Oct. 14-15 at Gowen Field in Boise.

There will be aerial acrobatics, ground shows and displays. But of course the biggest draw will undoubtedly  will be the US Air Force’s Thunderbirds and the Royal Canadian Snowbirds. This will be the first appearance ever for the Thunderbirds and Snowbirds at Gowen Field

The show will also feature the U.S. Army jump team and an arms demonstration showing off the  Idaho National Guard combat capability, which will include tanks, Bradley fighting vehicles, self-propelled howitzers and Army and Air Guard helicopters and jets.
