The Idaho Towns With The Most UFO Sightings in 2023

The mountains, the forests... there is so much to love about Idaho and evidently, extraterrestrials love the Gem State too.

Whether you call them UFOs (unidentified flying objects) or UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomenon), there is no denying that something is lurking in the skies of Idaho. Using information from one of the deepest databases for UFO sightings, we were able to determine which Idaho cities had the most sightings in 2023.

According to the National UFO Reporting Center, there were twenty-five UFO sightings over the course of the year. October was the busiest month for UFO sightings in Idaho with six sightings followed by February with five.

Outside of that, things were relatively quiet throughout the year.

According to the National UFO Reporting Center, Idaho Falls and Boise each had three sightings this year, making them the cities with the highest reports for the year. Meridian and Powell Junction tied for second with just two sightings in each city this year.

Are UFO/UAP sightings becoming a thing of the past?

According to the National UFO Reporting Center, there were an estimated fifty-three UFO/UAP sightings in 2022 which is more than double what we saw in 2023.

Is this a sign of "sighting fatigue"?

With the government recently declassifying documents on the subject and more people becoming aware of Starlink in our skies, it's quite possible that people are just "over it."

There is no telling as to what the future holds in UFO/UAP sightings for 2024. The 2023 numbers have us wondering: will we finally get confirmation that aliens exist and are regularly visiting our planet? Will we find out they have already been here?
