Idaho is One of the Top 20 Happiest States in the Country
As Americans, we are entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, but some states in our union seem closer to that happiness than others. How do we rank in Idaho?
We made the top 20, at least if you take what WalletHub has to say as true.
The website took a look at factors that help determine our happiness, and noted that where chose to live can be a major contributor. Like it or not, they say that "good economic, emotional, physical and social health are all key to a well-balance and fulfilled life."
To come up with their list of the happiest states in the country, WalletHub used 28 metrics including depression rate, sports participation rate, income growth, and more.
So who are the happiest states in America?
- Minnesota
- Utah
- Hawaii
- California
- Nebraska
Idaho came in 17th, behind Washington at 16th, and Colorado at 15th.
The least happiest states?
- West Virginia
- Oklahoma
- Louisiana
- Alabama
- Arkansas
