We've had a lot of rain and pretty mild temperatures through May, but it's all going to change this weekend with temperatures climbing to highs we haven't seen since 1986.

From Thursday to Saturday temperatures are expected to climb into the mid to upper 90's with a high of 98 on Saturday! We haven't had temps that hot in May in over thirty years! Weren't we just wearing jacket and pulling out the umbrella? Summer is officially here!

Roaring Springs opens on Saturday just in time to cool off. They have all sorts of regulations and procedures in place in the wake of COVID-19.

Boise public pools have decided to close this summer, so no chance to cool off there.

If you're not a fan of the heat, don't worry too much, according to idahonews.com a low pressure system is expected to bring relief. Early next week we are supposed to be back to the 70's and low 80's.
