The streets of Downtown Boise filled with people... In the cold... In their underwear this weekend and I decided before I judge these life decisions, I'd look into WHY this might be happening, and it did not disappoint!

So I just moved here and didn't know this was the 7th year in a row this was happening, I just saw lots of underwear and my initial thought was like... "Man, I wish I had the confidence to rock some red underwear, and only red underwear." Turns out that it wasn't just a brave showing of confidence, but it was actually for a good cause!

This past Saturday in downtown Boise, was the 7th annual Cupid's Undie Run, raising awareness and hopes to find a cure for neurofibromatosis "(NF), a genetic tumor disorder that affects 1 in every 3,000 births."

According to KTVB, "In addition to Boise, Cupid's Undie Run will take place in 37 other cities across the United States. So far the annual event in Boise has raised more than $18,000 for the Children Tumor Foundation."

Channel 7 did a great job covering the event from the weekend, and I'm kinda bummed I didn't know about it sooner. But now I do, and next year, maybe I'll brave the cold and strip down to my skivvy's to help with this great cause.
