Here's all the details you need and Your invitation to bring your dog to the First Annual Paws in the Park Dog Fair, this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.at Story Park in Meridian

This Saturday, May 20, well-behaved dogs and their owners are invited to be a part of the first ever "Paws in the Park", dog fair and free dog licensing opportunity at Storey Bark Park in Meridian (located at 430 E. Watertower Lane)

The event happens from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and features dog-related exhibits and services, $10 doggy nail trims, adoptable dogs, live music by the Red Light Challenge Band, prizes and giveaways, and more.

Dutch Bros and the Rusty Dog Food Truck will also be on-site selling beverages and food. And the best part....Admission to Paws in the Park is free.

In addition, Meridian residents who own unlicensed dogs may get a free one-year City of Meridian dog license. Those who wish to license their dog(s) at this dog fair are asked to bring a veterinarian receipt or other proof of spay/neuter, if applicable.

“Dogs living within the City of Meridian that are over six months of age must be licensed each calendar year. This ensures that dogs can be reunited with their owners in a timely manner if they are found loose.

Dogs can frolic leash-free inside Storey Bark Park during this event, but must remain on-leash while visiting the fair booths in the parking lots and entry areas.
