Get Up Close & Personal with Wildlife at the Village at Meridian
Camels, alligators, snakes, oh my!
Every Wednesday in June and July your family will have the chance to meet all kinds of different exotic animals at the Village at Meridian. Animal Expert and Idaho native Corbin Maxey will be there bringing along some of special animal friends.
Except to see animals like parrots, a camel, alligators, an anaconda, owls, and even a Golden Eagle! Each week will have a different wild theme like the rainforest or the desert. Learn all about some of the coolest creatures out there from the expert himself and stay tuned for a Q&A after the show.
You may have seen Corbin featured on both local and national TV programs like The TODAY Show, where he's showed off all sorts of animals he interacts with on a daily basis. According to his official webpage, Corbin has been surrounded by wildlife for basically his whole life. Growing up in the mountains of Southern Idaho, he spent a lot of his days observing snakes, lizards, frogs and toads. Corbin’s passion for all animals eventually influenced his decision to commit his life to them.
When he was just a young teen, Corbin founded Cyprus Hill Reptile Reserve, a non-profit organization out of Meridian, "dedicated to reptile rescue, conservation, and education." He's also extremely popular on both YouTube and TikTok.
The first Wild Wednesdays event is Wednesday, June 9th and will feature a Savannah Monitor Lizard, tortoise, Woma Python, Monkey-tailed Skink, 80lb Alligator Snapping Turtle, and 13-foot Albino Burmese Python! Reservations are required for each event to ensure social distancing. You can reserve a spot here.
