Our family loves to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It's our favorite tradition, breakfast in front of the TV on Thanksgiving morning, while all the floats and balloons go by. Even though we don't have the mega-balloons here in Boise we can still get a taste of the holiday spirit with our very own Boise Holiday Parade.

This weekend's parade kicks off from 10th and Jefferson heading East to 4th Street before turning West on Bannock. There are many great places to watch the floats, bands, and dancers march by including the steps of the Idaho Capitol Building.

This year's theme is "A Storybook Christmas" with children's author Leslie Petricelli acting as the parade's Grand Marshal. You can expect some holiday tunes, great energy, and maybe even a glimpse of Santa.

The parade starts this Saturday, November 18th at 9:45am. Wave when you see us! Mix106 will see you there!
