Canyon County Will Pay You $149 For One Day of Work
If you are 17 years of age and a U.S. citizen who is willing to work for 13 hours on one specific day, Canyon County would love to pay you $149. Plain and simple, Canyon County needs some poll workers. According to our friends at KTVB you are expected to work from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 8th, which is election day.
As a poll worker you will be asked to assist voters at various polling locations which includes checking voters in and registering voters. You will also ensure each voters gets the correct ballot and explain how to cast your vote correctly.
If you are interested in working as a poll worker you are required to fill out an application through the Canyon County website, here. In addition to filling out the application you will need to work one info training session set for Wednesday, September 19th at 2 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. Please remember to bring a non-biased opinion and a positive attitude.
