BREAKING: School Shooting Threat at Skyview High School
This is a developing story, but a school shooting has been threatened at Skyview High School in Nampa. Here is what we know so far.
The threat was written on a bathroom stall with the message saying "School will be shot up at 4-18-17 at 10:24 a.m. There will be a gang of 17 students doing this. They will target all the teachers and administrators first, then they will kill the students one by one." As if this isn't scary enough it warns that if you want to be safe that you should "stay home" and "if 911 is called all hell will break loose". Nampa police are investigating the threat. As of right now, this is being taken very seriously. If you have any information about who may have written the message you are asked to contact Nampa Police immediately.
A letter has been sent out to parents of the students enrolled at Skyview. Principle Will Barber says that students names have also been targeted out in the bathroom threat, but can't say whether or not they are involved with the threat or if this is something else. We will continue to update with more info as we get it. Head on over to KTVB.com for the latest and an article about the initial threat now.
No word yet on if Skyview High School will remain open tomorrow or close. Police are actively investigating every angle of the threat. A Facebook post was made on Skyview High School's page this morning and this is the chain from students and parents plus the letter that was sent out.
