Boise Area Home Prices Rising Faster Then Anywhere in the Country
In July the median price was $354,000 for a home in ADA County and now the median homing price is $355,000 at an all new high.
This information according to the Intermountain MLS which is the premier source of finding a property, open house, realtor and office in Southern Idaho and Eastern Oregon. CBS 2 had a great article where they broke the information on the rising house prices in Boise. They talk about the fact that there are too many people looking to buy houses and not enough houses. Which is good news for the housing contractors out there.
There was a recent article where it talks about housing prices in Boise rising faster then anywhere else in the country. Double digit percentage is what house prices have increased by in the past year in the Treasure Valley which is more then anywhere in the country! 13.6% and the national average is 5%. It's not just Boise it's all of Idaho that is on the rise and we grabbed the top honors of percentage growth in house price. Which for me is not good. I have yet to buy a house and with this market it feels impossible.
