Best Place to Find Free Moving Boxes in the Treasure Valley

Moving sucks, it's true. Where can I score some good boxes for free?

When you have as much stuff as I do it takes a village of boxes to get me through. Where can I find boxes in the Treasure Valley? I know a lot of big box stores have them BUT that being said they tear them down and crush them a lot too and quick.

Here are some places I assume may work but not sure they are free?

• Craiglist
• Facebook marketplace
•  Uhaul ( although I think they charge?)
• Stores
• Mechanics

I need good boxes too, as I will be moving kitchen ware which can get heavy. Moving is such a dreaded experience for people, it's no wonder they stay in places they don't like or wait to buy a house.

I have tried buying some totes for heavier or breakable things but they tend to add up in price. Help!
