Appreciative of This Inexperienced Boise Driver’s Sign

I was dropping my friend Nicole off downtown Boise when I saw this sign in this back of this VW and I had to laugh. Remembering when I was just learning to drive a stick.

If you know how to drive a stick then there was a time that this was you, now maybe not out on busy roads but the same kid in the front trying to learn about the clutch and about dropping the tranny was you. What a nice way to explain and also alert others.

It was appreciated by me and many others I am sure. I think more young drivers should do this period. It was tactful and I was watching and helping by keeping my distance since I know sticks can roll backward and sometimes you need room.

Thanks to whomever this young person was, trying to be respectful but at the same time learning to drive a stick in the real world.
