A Kasper Family Tradition

Many years ago, my wife started a tradition of getting Christmas ornaments hand made and painted with all 9 members of our family represented.  I originally thought it was kinda dorky, but now I have to admit, it's pretty cool, .Take a look at some of the ornaments from the past few years.

The one thing that is going to be difficult going forward is adding to the ornaments as our family grows with new husbands, wives, and kids.  Already we've had to add two more spouses and 3 new babies.  We are in a quandary as to what to do this year. The best idea we can think of is splitting the families as they get married and start having their own kids. The other big problem is that they are so heavy, that I'm not sure our tree can handle the full weight any more.  We might have to start hanging them from the mantle.
