After 12 very busy days, Toy Drive is over and this is my final recap, including our final numbers and information on how you can receive from our drive.

If you or someone you know needs help providing Christmas gifts for your/their family this year, everything you need to know is here.

How crazy to think that we had originally set out to hopefully get 50 bikes of the course of 12 days and ended up with 91! In literally the last 45 minutes of Toy Drive, Sergio and the crew from Wal Mart on Garrity BLVD in Nampa showed up with 25 bikes AND helmets, hitting nearly DOUBLE our original goal!

Our original cash and gift card goal was $500 and we thought, if it's a bunch of $10 gift cards to places like Del Taco or Starbucks, a lot of people could benefit from that. Never in a million years did we think we'd see a final total of $7,575 by the time we wrapped things up!

Lastly, we had a goal to fill a 53' Giltner semi truck trailer and the Treasure Valley packed it so full of toys that we had to start loading them into the second truck, we estimate that one to have been about 1/8-1/4 of the way full by the time we ended things on Monday.

My final message is this: Thank you, Treasure Valley. This was not a highly publicized event on TV or anything and together we pulled off something phenomenal that will make a lot of local families happy at the end of a very stressful year. I hope this becomes a wonderful tradition that we can continue to do year after year. Thank YOU!
