Would You Pay $95 For Any Of These Monkeys For Sale in Boise?

We've previously talked about the wonder that is Boise's Facebook Marketplace but we can't seem to get over one posting in particular that raised a lot of eyebrows - especially in our office.

One word: monkeys.

Don't worry, there is no illegal ring for buying monkeys in Boise

No, we're not talking about some illegal ring of chimp smugglers operating out of the City of Trees. Rather, someone is selling "homemade weighted monkeys of different facial expressions" on Facebook Marketplace.

Keyword: "homemade."

According to A-Z Animals, some monkeys cost as little as $1,500 while some monkeys like the spider monkey can cost up to $14,000. Sure, these weighted handmade monkeys don't move (or are even alive for that matter), but they're drastically cheaper at just $95.

What we're trying to say is that they're not a bad alternative... would you make the leap and purchase any (if not, all) of these handmade chimps that are for sale in Boise's Facebook Marketplace?

We're talking about those bizarre "Astro Boy boots" that went viral a few months ago. Someone was trying to sell them here and got absolutely torched. Let's take a look at what was said... would you pay for these over those homemade monkeys we were talking about?
