BSU Football player, Antoine Turner, came into the studio to share his story of growing up and not knowing where he was going to get his next meal. Hearing him talk about the physical pain of hunger and the lack of focus he had on a daily basis was heartbreaking. He was homeless before coming to BSU and feels that his mission in life is education the world on childhood hunger and to help fix this problem so that no child has to go through what he did.

By becoming a backpack buddy today for Mix 106 Cares for Kids you are helping a child like Antoine. You're providing weekend meals that will help them sleep and send them back to school on Monday with energy to focus and learn.
