Sometimes I'll crave Chipotle, but like, NOT Chipotle, ya know? Of course I'm always going to try and opt for a local option if it's available. Thankfully there are several alternatives in the Treasure Valley. The next time you're craving some quick, made-to-order Mexican grill grub, try one of these smaller chains that are either locally or regionally owned.

Parilla Grill - Come to Parilla Grill in Boise's North End for the vibes and atmosphere if nothing else. Para Grill has a food counter that's similar to Chipotle. In comparison, their menu is far more extensive and even includes margaritas!

KB Burritos (Ketchum Burritos) - There are five KB Burritos in Idaho including one in Eagle. The best part is of course that all their burritos, tacos, quesadillas and salads are fresh and made-to-order. KB Burritos is most popularly known for their fish tacos!

Taqueria La Flama - This food does not disappoint! Out of 189 reviews on Yelp! La Flama scores a 4.5 rating. You order your food at the counter and the food is prepared in the kitchen. It's restaurant quality Mexican food but you can get it super fast and to-go.

Bandidos - Bandidos in Nampa has been described as tasting fresher than other "build your burrito bars." They also offer more options like Gyros, enchiladas, quesadillas and nachos. I love Chipotle for how big their burritos are but Bandidos certainly gives Chipotle a run for its money - in this and every other category.

Now you'll never have to settle for generic again!
