It's Time To Admit That Idaho Needs Better Taco Options

Look, Idaho - you tried. That's all that matters and effort will take you places... but we have to do something about our tacos, especially here in the Treasure Valley.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good taco truck and there's a particularly good one in downtown Boise that my wife and I enjoy after some drinks. But, that's a taco truck.

We need taco restaurants.

I grew up in the state of Texas and when we wanted a burger, we went to Whataburger. When we wanted tacos, we went to Taco Cabana. It's a restaurant that the people of Idaho would really fall in love with, and not just for the tacos that would address the lack of quality taco options in the Treasure Valley... but for the vibe.

Back when I was in high school, all of the kids would flock to Taco Cabana for lunch. It was cheap, tasty, and open 24 hours a day. It was also where all of the kids would exchange the latest gossip and where people would exchange answers for that day's exam.

As a college student, it was where all of the kids would go for drinks as they always had a happy hour with their margaritas. Speaking of margaritas, these amazing people at Taco Cabana even went ahead and served up margaritas in their drive-thru when the pandemic hit because people weren't allowed inside.

Let's take a look at the top ten reasons Idaho needs Taco Cabana in its life ASAP to help with the taco crisis in the Treasure Valley.
