The Cherry Festival Returns to Emmett with Memories on June 16
There is just something special about the return of anything canceled over the last year because of COVID-19.
Emmett wants to invite you back for the return of the Emmett Cherry Festival. This is a huge celebration that dates back to the 1930s and it's back!
What is the Cherry Festival?
It's the second week of June where families have been coming together in celebration of the family for 86 years. Cherry's are the main attraction as over 55,000 people come to enjoy the celebration with free events.

This is just the beginning of several events coming back this year like the Meridian Dairy Days, Kuna Days at the end of June, and August. Idahoans love their festival, marathons, and outdoor events.
Emmett is a 45-minute drive from Boise and is well worth the fun with the family. You could actually call this a practice post-pandemic event for the family. I mean, how will every one act in public together again?
There are no dogs allowed in the City Park during the Cherry Festival.
