Pooch Party Stroll & Splash is Back For Another Year in Nampa

The Pooch Party Stroll & Splash is coming back for its 13th year in Nampa. Bring your pup out to Lakeview Park for a day full of fun on August 28th starting at 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

Nampa's largest dog festival is always a success for dogs (and their humans). The party includes a dog-swim, raffle, pet-friendly booths, a 1-mile walk, contests & prizes. Your dog can even become part of the entertainment by signing up for any or all of the contests taking place. There's one for almost every dog!

If your dog looks so cute in costumes, sign them up for the costume contest. Maybe your own of those dog owners who somehow looks just like your dog - there's a look-a-like contest for that. If your dog is super talented sign them up for the Super Dog Tricks competition or the Canine Cake Walk.

The Pooch Party Stroll & Splash is one of several ongoing fundraising efforts benefiting dog parks in Nampa. Pooch parties in the past have helped to build Nampa's six-acre Amity Dog Park.

Registration and check-in open at 9:000 AM with the walk starting at 10:00. Following the 1-mile walk is the Cancine Cake Walk at 10:45. The swimming pools will open at 11:00 along with the contests and vendor booths. The fun officially comes to an end at 1:00.

Register ahead of time online at nampaparks.org or by stopping by The Nampa Rec Center. The cost for registration is $25 and includes a t-shirt, gift & admission for one dog into the walk & swim. After that, the price is $10 for each additional dog.
