The Bachelorette’s, Joshua Albers, from Nampa Asks the Treasure Valley for Help
You may remember Joshua from his time on Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of the Bachelorette, or on Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise. You may have also met him while out and about in the Treasure Valley, since he lives and works in Nampa.
He was our special guest at last year's Bachelor on the Big Screen event where we watched Nick Viall's season finale with a few hundred of our closest friends. (See those photos HERE)
Joshua is such a great guy and despite how editing may have made him look on occasion in Paradise, he has a big heart for helping others, especially his family.
Joshua's mom, Kay, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in March of 2013. After a slew of treatments, awful side effects, blood tests and scans eventually showed enough improvement to deem her 'in remission'.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk helps fund treatments that are saving people's lives, just like Joshua's mom. The community comes together to walk at dark with lit lanterns, to bring light to the darkness of cancer through research and cures.
Joshua is asking for help in raising funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The need hits so close to home for so many people.
If you feel the urge to help, please consider donating on Joshua's page, HERE.
You can choose any denomination you would like and every bit helps towards the goal!
