The Idaho State Police are investigating the accident that happened on April 16th at 1:11 PM on Interstate 15, northbound at mile marker 63 in Pocatello.
A head-on collision in Southern Idaho on Thursday evening claimed the life of an elderly driver north of Bear Lake, with a juvenile injury reported in the second vehicle.
The Idaho State Police and the Idaho Transportation Department reported a highway accident in a Southern Idaho construction zone. The accident involved a semi-truck that had hit a cement barrier.
A man from Southern Idaho was traveling on an Idaho highway on Thursday morning when his vehicle was struck head-on by another vehicle headed in the wrong direction.
Idaho State police troopers noticed a motorcycle traveling at a high speed and weaving between slower vehicles without using turn signals. A trooper clocked the bike at 115 miles per hour.
A few of the crashes involved motorcycles, but more than half of them were semi-truck accidents. A more disturbing fact is that all five of the semi-truck-related accidents in the last week happened in the southeast part of the state.
In a series of recent news releases we received from the Idaho State Police, we learned that they responded to two serious rollover accidents on St. Patrick’s Day. Both accidents happened in Eastern Idaho on the same highway near Rexburg.
