The Capitol Christmas Tree From Idaho Ends Up With ISP Crash

The National Christmas Tree, from here in Idaho, is making the trip from Idaho to Washington DC.  Unfortunately, one ISP Trooper was in an accident escorting it.  

The accident happened earlier today while the Trooper was part of escorting the tree from Valley County to Boise for this afternoon's festivities.  The accident was on Idaho 55.

ISP Trooper Brandalyn Crapo was hit by a pickup truck that crossed the center line while she was leading the escort, was suffered minor injuries.  The semi truck that was hauling the tree was not involved in the accident.
