For the last 5 nights my neighbors have been setting fireworks off, sometimes after midnight. I'm probably getting old (33) and lame (definitely) but this is insane!

Dogs just don't understand Independence Day. We know the loud booms and bangs are to show how much we love our freedom, but dogs must think the world is caving in and they're about to get some shrapnel right in the hiney. We've got some ways to help calm the doggie jitters.

Community leaders still stand by their decision to change the way McCall celebrates Independence Day, by banning alcohol in beachfront and state parks. For the most part, they believe it was a positive move and beneficial for the town as a whole...

It's been an ongoing conversation, with attention and emotion escalated after the Table Rock Fire, and now aerial fireworks are officially illegal to be sold in the State of Idaho.

Bet you didn't know that one of the biggest and most spectacular fireworks displays west of the Mississippi happens every year here in Idaho on the 4th of July.  It's true...bigger than anything in Portland, Seattle, California and it happens here in Idaho. The damage is immediately clear visually as you drive into the city following the 2500+ acre Table Rock Fire last week.   The cause was fireworks.  Should our Idaho laws change?
