None of us will ever know how difficult it is to be a shelter animal. Not having a place to call home or a forever family. It's for that reason I want you to help support the Mix 106 Mutts and see 'Through Their Eyes' to benefit the Meridian Canine Rescue.

To show you what it's like to be a shelter animal I will be spending 24 hours in a dog kennel doing the same activities as a dog waiting for a home. There will be no cell phone or any other distractions allowed during the 'Through Their Eyes' promotion as we will be showing you what it's truly like for these animals.

Our friends at the Meridian Canine Rescue treat these animals the best they can possibly be treated and their team works hard to match these adoptable dogs with a perfect family. As you can imagine it costs a lot of money to run an organization like this so you are encouraged to donate to support the Mix 106 Mutts and Meridian Canine Rescue by CLICKING HERE.

The 24 event will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 28th and end at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 1st. Non-participants will be sharing lots of video through our Facebook & Instagram during the event, so make sure you're connect with us. You will also see a bunch if you're connected with the Meridian Canine Rescue and here is their Instagram.

There is a total of 6 participants that are jumping into these 6 dog kennels and you're more than welcome to stop in while MCR is open on Friday from Noon-5 p.m. to see us for yourself. If visitors are interested in adopting the dog we are pared up with and want to get us out of the kennel for a visit those visits are allowed so please stop by say hi and bring your donation to help these dogs find their furever homes!
