Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic 2016

The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic is back again! The festival is celebrating its 25th year with hot-air balloons taking off from Ann Morrison Park, August 31-September 4! The best part? Thanks to CapEd, admission is FREE!

I am SOOO excited to take my kids to this for the first time this year. My 12 year old is fascinated with the balloons and I know that my one year old is going to be just as mesmerized!

As always, there is a lot of fun to be had for families. From coloring contests to posing for pictures in baskets with pilots.

I am especially excited for the Nite Glow Spectacular on Friday, September 2! They have special and unique hot air balloons that the kids will love.

Balloons cannot lift off the ground in the dark so in the event, pilots will turn the night into day with 25 balloons lined up side-by-side. I've been told, you simply have to see it if you’ve never seen a balloon glow!
