Saturday is National Stamp Out Hunger Day and Here’s How You Can Help
If you see a mail carrier this week with blue hair, don't freak out, they've colored their hair to help "Stamp Out hunger" with the Idaho Food Bank.
Mail carriers throughout the Treasure Valley are coloring their hair blue to help draw attention to the annual Stamp out Hunger day which is this Saturday, May 12th.
You're encouraged to help this year by setting out a bag of non-perishable food items near your mailbox. Your friendly neighborhood letter carrier will stop by on his or her usual route to drop off your mail and pick up your donations. All the donations collected will then be delivered to the Idaho Foodbank.
