OPP: Family Drama

Dear Mike and Nicole,

I love listening in the morning, thanks for being part of my daily drive each morning. I have an issue though that I need your advice. My parents and I had a falling out last Christmas and we haven't spoken since. There have been no phone calls, emails, texts anything. The Holiday's have come and gone and still no contact. I have three boys who haven't heard from them either. My oldest has a birthday coming up soon, and he asked yesterday if we could invite Grandma and Grandpa to his birthday party. This breaks my heart. I'm stuck on what to do. I want to let the kids still have a relationship with my parents, but there has been so many times where I've  heard from them what they say about my husband and I in front of them. These are things that young children shouldn't have to hear about their own parents. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you so much.
