Mike & Nicole's OPP: The One That Got Away

Dear Mike and Nicole,

I have been dating a woman for six months. Everything has been really great. We enjoy being around each other and we've never had any big fights.
Everything was great, until last Sunday, when I found out the love of my life is relocating back home. She is 'The One That Got Away'. We started talking on Facebook and have agreed to meet up this weekend. My heart is now torn in half and I don't know what to do. Should I stay with my current girlfriend or break up with her and make an attempt to reconcile with my college sweetheart. I would absolutely never cheat, but I feel like if I break up with my current girlfriend now, it won't be as painful for her as it will later. What should I do? How do I handle this so no one gets hurt?
