Dear Mike and Nicole,

My wife recently became friends with our new neighbor down the street. The two have been spending tons of money going to a psychic for readings. A couple of weeks ago, she told my wife to keep our two kids home from school on Friday the 13th because it was a "questionable day". I was completely against it since our kids are already struggling in school this year, skipping a day for no reason just seems so far fetched. I don't believe in all that mumbo jumbo anyway.

This sparked a huge fight between her and I. This neighbor has my wife convinced that she needs this psychic in her life to function. It's absolutely ridiculous and it's starting to drain our bank account and affect our marriage. I've told her my concerns, but she doesn't want to hear it.

What do I do? How can I get her to understand that she doesn't need a psychic to live her life?
