Dear Mike and Nicole,

I hope you choose my letter for your OPP this week because I really need some clarity on a situation. My fiance and I have been together for 3 years, engaged for a little less than a year, and he is currently serving in the military overseas.

His best friend lives a couple of blocks away from our house and promised him when he left that he would watch after me and if I ever needed anything to let him know. Our garage door stopped working a couple a few weeks ago and he came over to fix it. We never really spent much time together before, so I didn't realize how much we had in common. A couple of nights later one of our lights went out in the kitchen and I couldn't reach it, so I asked if he could use his ladder to change it out. I felt bad that I was asking him to do so much, so I offered to make dinner. I realize now after talking to my sister that it probably wasn't the right decision. We had a great time though, laughing, talking, and stayed up until pretty late in the evening before he left.

I'm sure you can see where this is going. I have developed really strong feelings for this guy and I feel guilty because my fiance is fighting for our country overseas. I would NEVER cheat on him, but I'm wondering what you think I should do? Do I tell his friend how I feel first and see if he even feels the same? Do I tell my fiance how I'm feeling when he really needs to focus and stay clear headed over there? I just don't know what to do. Please help!
