Man Pulls Knife at Caldwell Gas Station Then Steals a Car
Caldwell Police said a man threatened a clerk at the Maverik gas station at Ustick Road and 10th Avenue very early yesterday and then stole a car and took off!
The suspect told the clerk to give him the things he needed from the store for free and when the clerk refused, he pulled out a knife on him. At the same time this was happening inside the store, a woman pulled up to the Maverik and went inside, leaving her unlocked car in front of the store with the engine running. The man with the knife got into her car and drove off. No one was hurt thankfully, but he has still not been found.
The suspect is described as a young Hispanic man between the ages of 18 and 25. He was wearing an orange Boise State sweatshirt, blue jeans, and glasses. The stolen car is a gray 2001 Ford Taurus.
