A human being's bond with their dog is truly unlike anything else. Sure, being a parent to actual human beings is rewarding but being a parent to a canine is something completely different.

Make time for your pup this weekend!

It's important to bond with your dog(s) as much as you can and this weekend marks the perfect event to do just that at the 16th Annual Pooch Party 2024.

The event takes place at Lakeview Park near the swimming pool and will feature plenty of activities for you and your pup to participate in. According to a press release:

You and your dog will enjoy a one-mile walk around the park, followed by a dog swim in Lakeview Water Park, a foam party, pet-friendly booths, and a raffle for great prizes. Plus, your dog can become part of the entertainment! Let your dog shine in the costume contest, look-a-like, super dog tricks or canine cake walks.

Today (8/20) is the last day you can purchase $25 tickets at their website here; after that, they go up to $30. The event starts at 8:30 AM with check-in, followed by the mile walk at 9:30.

If you pay a little extra, you'll have access to the VIP swim for your dog(s) at 10 AM with Canine Cake Walks & Contests kicking off at 10:45 AM.
