Have you been questioning whether your sneezing and sniffling is COVID-19 or just seasonal allergies? (I know I have.) We've got answers for you to help determine if you have the coronavirus or if it's just allergies.

I know every time I cough or sneeze in public I feel self-conscious. I have sometimes wondered if I do have COVID-19 or if I'm blowing allergies out of proportion. It seems fever is the main indicator that there is a real problem.

According to an article on KTVB, signs of seasonal allergies include...

  • itchy eyes and nose
  • sneezing

Coronavirus symptoms include...

  • fever
  • cough
  • shortness of breath

If you don't have a fever, experts say it's most likely not COVID-19 and that 80%-90% of people have some sensitivity to spring allergens, animal dander, or dust mites.

It's good to know the difference so we don't panic and we don't flood our emergency rooms and urgent care, so know before you go!
