Do you ever look back on your years in school and ask: "Why in the world did I need to know that?" Many of us have and let's be real; if you're asking that, chances are you're right.

Did the school system fail us as a society?

Whether it's math or dissecting a frog, unless you're incorporating that knowledge into your present-day career, some of those lessons were forgotten before you left school for the day. While some of us are fortunate enough to homeschool our kids, some of us don't have any choices outside of public school.
